Webstars is a exiting new concept commissioned by one of our Dutch clients. It is gathering place where upcoming talents can compete against each other and interact with their exisiting or new fans. When an performer registers he or she can upload video's, pictures or music clips, keep fans up to date using the fan messageboard, expand their fansbase, post upcomming performances, invite people, read and moderate user comments on their media clips, maintain a blog and more.
Maxland IT was involved in the project from start to finish. Prototyping the storyboards, functionality up to the final design and programming. The project is build in .Net running on msSQL database. It includes a intergration with a video management system, payment system using premium rate sms and voicelines, and integration of socialmedia api's like Twitter, Facebook and Hyves.
